Hi everyone

I replaced the external heat exchanger on our hydronic system, after bringing everything back into pressure, the heating cycle starts briefly, and then the boiler shuts off, and a slight clicking sound emits from the "Taco Cartridge Circulator" .
Any ideas about what could be the reason ?

Thank you,

Was it working before you replaced the heat exchange?
Who did the job?

Yes, it was working before.

I did the job myself.

I found the issue - it was one valve in the loop that I mistook for a quarter-turn valve. It as a full spin valve. Once turning (opening) that valve to full-open, hot water started circulating again and the heater started working properly.

Thank you.
