HB Smith Propane Boiler Aquastat model replacement

Have a 40 plus year old HB Smith Propane boiler model PG200-W-2 no damper/has a pilot. Was interested in getting an Aquastat which most closely mirrors the one on it which is a Honeywell L8148E 1000 which has been discontinued. The two models I found are the L8148E1265 and L8148J1009. From what I have read the L8148E1265 is the closest match as far as wiring. Just was confused as a HVAC shop mentioned the model L8148J1009 as a re[placement.

I have an HB Smith propane boiler used for heating which is over 40 years old. The relay can be sometimes be sensitive and not engage the pump. Is there a good replacement model which would not need a lot of adjustments to the wiring. The one on the unit now is a Honeywell L8148E 1000 there is no damper. Have heard different opinions comparing Honeywell and Beckett being a better unit.
