Hansgrohe Raindance S 150 Air 1-jet Shower Head dripping

we just re piped the whole house and upgraded the shower valve’s and heads. When I turn on the shower there is a continuous flow of water coming straight down from the shower head. The shower head sprays nicely but it acts like one of those cheap multiple pattern hose nozzles that you buy at the box stores that drips along with spraying.
