My wife's shower has a 20 year old Grohe thermostatic shower valve.

She is complaining that after operating seemingly properly for 10-15 minutes, it then only delivers cold water in spite of the fact there is plenty of hot water in the tank.

As near as I can tell, its a "Talia" model which appears to be discontinued. See attached pic.

Presumably Talia just refers to the trim? The trim is fine. If I need a new thermostatic motor, are they still available and how would I go about determining the correct part number?

And, how do I extract the thermostatic motor? Is there a good Youtube out there?

Thanks in advance for advice.

These thermostatic showers from Therm-Oz are excellent if you are in Australia, the built in chamber to get the temperature constant has been brilliant with kids
