So if I have a friend who's parents wanted Jacuzzi tub. They started doing this bathroom remodel and The grandad went out and bought this jet tub deal, real fancy like ,and has a interesting tubular drain... The Drain is like a 1 1/2 inch flex tube..
What is the proper way to connect a drain like this? The Drain tube iis like kinda accordance flex tube. I'm thinking only way is a barbed tube adapter .
I believe the bathroom drain overall has a stack vent originally. But previous tub did not have its own. Just standard tub drain w overflow is there...
Would it be advisable to run another vent ?

Usually there is some proprietary junk adapter for something like you have.
There is nothing in real plumbing world that works with that. Flex drains do not meet code even though you can see them at hardware stores and they do work and solve problems.

Looks like 1 1/2 tubular is almost exactly that size to slip inside but then what? There's flex pipe on spas but it doesn't look like that its like a thick rubber and is sch40 size

Did the installation manual give guidance? You might check with the maker.
