Glacier Bay Head Fitting Size

I have a Glacier Bay faucet in my kitchen. I tightened an adapter for my PUR water filter to the faucet head. The adapter is metalized plastic and cracked within days. I'm trying to find a female adapter.

It is bigger than 15/16" as the 15/16" female adapter that I ordered is too small. My calipers indicate that it is actually 1.00 - 1.02" across. Is there a certain size for this? I am not finding any.
