Getting my utility sink to work again...

When we moved into our house, we wanted our washer and dryer in the basement so my relatives reworked the pipes near the utility sink and connected the washer and had it drain into the sink. The only problem was that they ran out of time to get the sink working again and they're not coming back anytime soon. So, I need to connect the sink lines to the water line again and I would think there's some fancy splitter thing I could buy to make that happen but I'm lost. Can someone point me in the right direction? I've attached some pictures in case I'm using the wrong terminology. Thanks in advance!

Smooky,
I just wanted to say thank you for your advice. I finally got around to following your suggestions and it is working perfectly.

Thanks!
