Gerber Stem Question

I bought a Gerber faucet with a valve, hot and cold compression stems, and a diverter. My old faucet stems worked in different directions then this one. Can I switch the stems so the cold turns on counter-clockwise and the hot turns on clockwise? I think the stems are the same. Only change is turning direction

Just take them out and interchange them.
