You're installing new tile. Now would be a great time to replace with a single handle, pressure balanced tub valve. Parts for that faucet you have is going to be very hard to get in the future.

And maybe someone will know what you have if parts are all you need now.

I totally agree with Terry

Knowing scalding can be prevented with a new type of single lever shower body it makes no sense to spend time and money to install new tiles and leave the old shower valve that can cause severe scalding .

Now is the time to upgrade
