I am doing an addition. I gave gone through a gas line sizing exercise and determined based on distances and cu ft/hr I need 1 1/4". The gas company is relocating the meter for the addition but I have been told the line coming out of the meter will be 3/4"

Do I still go into the building with 1 1/4" ( and branch of to the various appliances with 3/4)
Is going up from 3/4 to 1 1/4 to avoid to much pressure loss because of the distance?
Please advice -thanks
