My daughter is having a problem with the gas fireplace in her small condo. It will operate normally for 20-30 minutes but then shuts off. When she first moved in we had to have the thermocouple replaced - since she doesn't use very much don't know if this is when problem arose. Doesn't seem to be dependent on fire size (only adjustment is the gas flow valve) Any ideas out there would be helpful

Does this small condo fireplace have an outside vent for fresh air? Is there good venting for the exhaust? Chimney or side vent, or vent less? Gas fixtures can sense low oxygen and it'll shut off the gas to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning. Here is a video on your problem.

Trying running the fireplace with a window opened about an inch and see what happens.
