Furnace Venting 80%

Im guessing furnace is around 20-25 years old, 80% efficient. Was venting like this ok out side of the house. Does it have to be changed

You need the installation operating manual. National fuel code 7-3-4 years ago wanted B vent a external flue fan with pressure switch. Need to talk with manufacturer tech.

WHere and how to vent a gas device is described in the installation manual. There will be rules about its location relative to doors/windows/overhangs/walkways, etc., the length and type of material that can be used, and the type of vent hood. Hard to say without knowing the exact unit. That could be fine, it may not be. It probably wouldn't be for most newer systems.
