Greetings,

I am trying to complete wiring on new 3/4 hp submersible pump installed in low-producing well. Q.D. style control box accepts PumpSaver Plus Insider for pump protection so I purchased one for ease of installation. However, looking at wiring diagrams on this sight show float switch wired in after pump protection unit. Because my unit is not a stand alone unit, I’m not sure where to splice in float switch. 1. Between breaker and control box? 2. After control box? Or, inside control?

Thanks to all!

P.S. Power will be off!

With a 3-wire pump... the switch, whether it is a pressure switch or float switch, would need to be before the control box.
