I have a Fleck 9000 power head and I found there is a crack on the middle drive gear.
Even though the motor is running, the drive gear aren't spinning now.
I also found that there are some broken tooth on the middle gear too.
I replaced the all the gears at the end of March, 2015.
After searching forum, worn valve internals will cause binding that can cause the problem of broken gears.
I'm considering to buy a rebuild kit.
Would you please let me know how to rebuild the valves?
There is no by-pass switch on the 9000.
By the way I know how to turn off the water to my car wash.
Do I need to contact plumber or will it be OK to do by myself?
If I take it out old valve, won't be any water flowing out?
Thank you in advance.
