I need to replace my failed fleck 6700 softener head. After seven years of service and many problems with the controller I'm final going to replace it. I was looking at the 5600stx and was wondering if it would be a direct replacement. Would the pick up tube be the same.

Thanks
Mark

The pickup tube would be the same. Easy replacement.

The 6700 has many advanced features, none of which you will miss.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I'm going to need to get a new head for my iron filter also. Any recommendations.

I have a fleck 2510. I just did a tune up on it, new piston and o-rings. Then had to put a new timer motor on and now it's not keeping the proper time it regenerates when ever it wants.
