Hi, I just purchased a Fleck 5600SXT with a 64,000 grain capacity tank.

The notes on the side of the valve state: Injector - 2, Drain Flow - 3.5GPM

The paperwork states it comes with 10% crosslink resin

We have a family of 6 with the possibility of guests in an apartment above our garage, so maybe 6-8 at any given time.

Hardness tested at a 12.

Settings I have now are...

DF - GAL
VT - dF1b
CT - Fd
NT - 1
C - 45
H - 12
RS - SF
SF - 10
DO - 14
RT - 2:00
BW - 10
BD - 60
RR - 10
BF - 12
FM - P0.7

Thank you!

For the BLFC, is that the number I posted that is on the side of the pump? 3.5? If so, would that change anything?

Not sure if this makes a difference, but the distributed water in my area has iron levels of 0.007 ppm...

Also, if I wanted to lower any sliminess, what would be the best way to tweak?

No. A "64000" grain tank would normally be 12x52. A 12 inch diameter tank normally uses a 3.5 gpm backwash and fast rinse.

The iron does not reach you.

Reduce BF to decrease the amount of salt used per regen. C would normally also reduce a bit, but let's leave that for now. Also, the resin arrives pre-regenerated, so your settings only come into play later.
