Hello:
I left on vacation and turned off my well pump (like I usually do) when I go on vacation. When I came back, my Fleck unit had attempted to flush itself and only had a little water to start (from whatever was left in the pressure tank). The valve was making some high-pitched sounds / beeps until I turned the water back on. Now the water is super salty. I've flushed it again (with water now) and its helped a little but still salty. Any suggestions?

1. Clean the injector (2 piece) and injector screen. Note the color.
2. When you say 5600, do you mean mechanical timer with no metering?
3. How big is your mineral tank?

Based on what you have and what the injector color is, and whether the injector or screen as clogged, and how big the media tank is, more things to try will come.

Alternative test: How long after brine draw starts does the brine get sucked down to the middle of the air check valve? Expectation is roughly 15 minutes.

You can also put the system into the brine draw cycle and test the water at the drain. The water should take several miutes to get salty. if it gets salty within the first minute ther is a problem typically inside the tank or the riser.
