Hi all, DIY question I was hoping you could help with. Removing sheet vinyl, replacing with tile. The picture below is what I have for a toilet waste pipe. I'm not sure what to do about the (lack of a) flange. I know I need to gain some height to get the flange on top of the tile but I'm not sure how to go about it.

I have some spacers that would be the right height but they aren't an exact fit to the existing pipe.

Any help is really appreciated

Don't go chopping things out before you think it through.

How is the altitude of the top of the plastic compared with the top of the finished floor. A Danco Model 10672X Hydro Seat is like repair ring with a tail. Use wax ring under. The feet would normally go atop the finished floor. You would screw it down.

You may prefer a repair ring. There are various choices.
