First post: Identify this part

Hi all,

I am fairly versed in plumbing, but this one has me stumped. This component is installed in my water supply line between my well pump and tank. Any ideas? Thanks!

Never seen one but I'm thinking its some type of hammer arrestor

I think it is a vacuum breaker , WATTS 36A . You could replace it with WATTS LFN36
