I’m looking for a replacement controller for my filter tank that goes in front of the water softener. Very high iron content. The old control injected air and automatically back flushed the filter tank. It looks about a 3 inch threaded hub attaching the control to the tank. Going to try and attach a picture of the tank.

It appears you want to replace the entire control valve, not just the controller.

Which model control vale is currently installed, and why do you feel the need to replace it?

Include the size of your tank, and specify which media is inside.

How old is the filter, and does it continue to contain the original media?

Do you want to continue with an AIO (air injection oxidation) system, or do you want to consider alternative treatment methods? Not all control valves are suitable for use as an AIO system.

Do you have a current lab test report for your raw well water to post?

Any H2S (sulfur) odor?

Thanks for the reply
I dont have any sulfur odor. It looks like this was a safeway BTN 185 control valve. I know nothing about it other than that. The thread on the valve is 2.5 inches. The tank its self is 55 inches tall with a diameter of 9 inches. There is a 1 inch tube running down the center of the tank.
BTW my water softener seems to take care of most of the ferrous rust however there is still an odor. I tried an in line carterage filter that seems to help significantly however my goal is to have the system flush its self.

I will attach pictures of the valve
