How can I fix this leak? Just replaced the whole floor and studs because of this issue. It's leaking at a notch in the fiberglass.

Should I sand it down or use jb weld or both?

Please, Any Help Much Appreciated...

The drain leaked from under the flange. use silicone or stainless plumbers putty and load it up under the flange. As you tighten down on the drain body into the threaded drain, it will spread out and work itself from under the flange. Do get a new compression washer between the shower pan and the drain pipe. This will take up any flexing between the pan and drain from someones weight standing in the shower. The leak did not occur from the threads. From the looks of your drain there isn't a compression seal.

Ok, yeah there was only a black rubber washer. Was told that it always leaked.

Would JB Water Weld work too? Should I just put it under the flange or on the under the drain where it's missing some?
