Our tap water here seems to be about 50° or so. I want to mix in a small amount of hot water into the Cold for the washing machine cold water inlet, so that the inlet water is tepid rather than super cold. It is intended for a bidet I believe.
I have a mixing valve with a built-in one way flow valve that would work just dandy. However, the threads on it are 1/2 in NPS, and I need to connect that to garden hose thread fittings to put it between the supply and the washer
How can I connect the two with a minimal number of adapters? ( I want the cost and complexity at minima)
Garden hose adapters all have NPT threads. Braided toilet supply lines are NPS, but 3/8 on one end.
Thank you!
