Has anyone installed this product. which toilet will it pair with outside of DXV. The bidet seat is roughly 16 inches wide. Wondering which Kohler will work, American Standard or Mirabelle. The Bidet seat needs 2 inches from tank to seat hinge. Too many Toto toilets options and these toilets tend to be more narrow and shorter than other toilets. Not ideal for "Comfort" using a bidet IMO. This is going into a modern bathroom. Therefore, skirted preferably.

Thoughts?

From the spec sheets, the DXV is 15-1/4" wide and the TOTO is 15-1/8" wide.
Which makes sense, there are basicly two shapes of seats in the US, elongated and regular. Most bidet seats are for the elongated bowls.
Bidet seats and Washlets will fit most toilets. Pick an elongated seat for an elongated bowl toilet. Pretty simple really.

The only fitment issue I have heard, could be others, is how the rear of the seat is shaped on the bottom. Usually, there is a gasket or small pedestal at the point where the bolts go through to anchor it on the toilet. This slightly elevates the rear and lets the seat fit without rocking if the top edge of the bowl there is not perfectly flat. If it isn't, and the bottom is flat, when you tighten the bolts to hold it on, you'd be trying to bend the thing, which may or may not work well.

Except on some weird designer toilets, most seats are interchangeable as long as you do round to round or elongated to elongated.
