So I wasn't paying close enough attention to what I was doing and ended up drilling into the shower drain pipe. The bit was pretty narrow (perhaps 1/8" diameter). I used a paperclip to check whether the drill had penetrated through the pipe wall and discovered that it had not. What's the best way to address this? I figure it should be ok since the hole doesn't go all the way through, but I don't know how close it is and don't want to it to wear through over time. Would simply putting epoxy over the hole work? Sorry if this sounds ridiculous. I'm pretty new with home remodeling.
EDIT: The place where I drilled the hole was on the top of the horizontal pipe just past the trap going towards the main waste line.
