Hi All -

Awesome forum - lurker here for the past month or so while mentally preparing to do all of the plumbing on a new 2nd floor master bath.

I plan on tying in to the existing main stack vent for the drain. The bathroom is literally two floors exactly above the sewer outlet in the basement. The first floor bath does not vent into the main stack vent - it vents into a secondary vent that goes up into the attic and out. I would basically be turning the main stack vent into a wet vent while it runs up the first floor.

Any issues with this?

Thanks all for the feedback - I'll be posting a rough design here once I get the image into the computer.
