Hey All, in the very early stages of conceptualizing a kitchen remodel. I am tossing the idea around of a cantilevered bump out addition. See attached pic, that’s 95% of what mine would look like.
I plan to have the kitchen sink in this bump out. The joists run the same way as in the picture and the basement is unfinished. So for the drain, that seems pretty simple, but for the vent, how would I get a vent run out of that? The LVL beam supporting the second floor will span the entire length of the bump out. Does anybody have pictures or ideas on getting a vent back into the wall cavity on the second floor?
