Installing a double vanity, I’m hearing different opinions on how to pipe the drainage in. I planned to run 1-1/2” (blue) into existing basement wet vent rough in. Adding a vent after the first (red). Some say upsize the whole line to 2” or pipe them as seperate lines. Also in Canada. All help is appreciated. Thank you.

What your trying isn't legal under the UPC. Without looking up the sizing requirements I can tell you that it'll definitely work, but to make it good you'd cut in your tee (2")near the floor and 90 up between the lavs. Then use a double fixture fitting (2x1. 5x1.5x1.5) at lav height. Then continue up to about 42"above the floor then 90 back into the vent.

Just an opinion.
