Sorry this picture is not sharp...
I primarily use Sink 1. Soap suds (and sometimes fine debris that passed through the garbage disposal that is carried along by these suds) come up on Sink 2 when I pour a lot of water down Sink 1. I understand this is "normal". But I do not accept it (any longer). I've read that a check valve along the drain of Sink 2 is not advisable. I've read you can put a second P trap under Sink 2 but this may cause siphoning issues (don't understand it, but honestly, the space under the cabinet would suffer greatly with a 2nd P trap anyhow...) Is there no other solution in 2025? Seems like a 1950s plumbing problem....
