Does anyone know what this means on a pipe: ASTM A53 TYPE F Sch. 40/TATA

"ASTM A53 Type F" designates the pipe material: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASTM_A53
"Sch. 40" is a pipe sizing standard. Most steel and plastic plumbing pipe, and much electrical conduit, used in U.S.
construction is Schedule 40.
"TATA" is the name of a pipe manufacturer in India.
