Hello All,

VENT not bent. Sorry

I’m new on this site and could really use some help. I have a washer and I would like to install a standpipe in the wall. There is a utility sink next to it-or there was. It’s being replaced. My question is, if I install the standpipe and tie it into the sink drain that has a vent going up, will that be enough for the standpipe or do I need to tie into the vent pipe higher up. The cast is being taken out and 2” ABS is going in -which is also the drain pipe size. I’ll attach pics. The washer will go to the left and the sink in to the right in the corner. I have the configuration for the standpipe down. My uncertainty is if I need to have an additional tie-in to the vent or not.
