DIY project- Pumping well water 700 feet to a pond.

Large DIY project here. Need some advice!

I have a pond that is dry and a well that's deep. I have a 300 foot well cased in 5 inch pipe. The static water level is about 15 feet below the top of the pipe.

I want to pump to a pond that is 700 feet (gradually uphill 40 feet total) from the well. If I set the pump at 200 feet deep + 700 feet of pipe with 40 ft of elevation gain, I'm guessing my total head would be roughly 300 including friction losses from the pipe. The goal is to get 20-30 gal per minute. (Local well driller thinks the well will handle that.

My questions-

What size of submersible pump would be recommended? I have power access to it already.
What type of pipe recommended for the 200' vertical rise out of the well?
What type/size of pipe for the 700 foot horizontal run to limit friction. I know psi comes into play pushing water this far. Can I just run 700 feet of 2 inch PVC?
Any issues that I have to overcome that I haven't listed?

I'm looking to obviously keep costs down but I don't want the system to be trash. I appreciate any help I can get!
 
With 1.5" pipe you will lose about 2.31' or 1 PSI per 100'. Even though the pump is set at 200', it is only lifting from the water level of 15'. It depends on how deep the water draws down when pumping 20 GPM as to what size pump you need. If you don't know the pumping level, installing a pump that can produce 20 GPM from 200' (250' tdh) maybe oversized. A ball valve on the discharge can let you adjust the flow as needed. 20 GPM from 250' will take a 2HP like a 25GS20 or a 25S20-11.
 
PVC is more likey to fail due to thermal expansion/contraction if you don't allow for that. Consider SIDR polyethylene pipe. https://www.menards.com/main/search.html?search=sidr

Don't pull it tight in the trench, but let it snake some.
Can I run SIDR Polyethylene pipe 1 1/4 the entire length (including down the well).

it gets pretty expensive going up to 2 inches.
