Hi I have a 3 handle bathtub faucet brand Galtmaster. I have replaced hot and cold stems and seats but still have a drip from the faucet. I am trying to remove the diverter stem as well to see if that is the problem. I removed the bonnet nut but when I try to unscrew the stem it turns but will not come out. I can see the packing material but no apparent way to use a socket wrench. I also tried to temprarily reattach the handle to the stem to turn, but the stem just turns and does not come out.
Diverter stem turns but does not come out when trying to unscrew.
