Dishwasher
Dishwasher discharge line must be run high, anchored to bottom of counter, so it runs above Garbage Disposal and slopes to the garbage disposal's dishwasher inlet. This makes an air gap and keeps sewer gas from going into dishwasher.
Under Counter Ice Machine
Install a Tee (optimum is a WYE Sloped TEE) into the dishwasher inlet of the garbage disposal with the Wye branch facing up and straight flow of the TEE taking straight line flow of dishwasher running into the garbage disposal. Install the Ice Machine Pump discharge line to the WYE/TEE branch (branch on top of tee) with directional slope towards the garbage disposal. If only a straight TEE then use a check valve. AGAIN run the Ice Machine discharge pump line high level ( anchor to underside of counter) such that the line runs above the the garbage disposal inlet. Running the discharge lines above the garbage disposal dishwasher inlet is and ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT. The discharge lines must slope down to the garbage disposal. Doing this makes for an Air Gap in the discharge lines and it is best that the high point incorporates upside V configuration to make Air Gap that will not be siphoned by flow. Remember dishwasher is high velocity large volume flow whereas ice machine is lower velocity and lesser flow rate. Any plumbers out there please correct this graduate engineer who is using basic fluid dynamics.
If no garbage disposal then a fitting with double WYE TEE fittings can be installed the sink(s) Pee traps. WYE branch connections facing up.
