I bought a Danco trim kit that's supposed to work on many Delta Models. Problem is, the knurled cap that comes with the kit is slightly smaller than the knurled cap that is already on there. This means that the stainless steel sleeve won't fit over the old knurled cap.
Can I swap out the smaller cap for the larger one, or do I have to buy a different trim kit?
