I am looking to ID and then replace this old early 1980s Delta shower knob with a modern lever. (Does anyone know if this is a Delta 600?)
Unfortunately, I am in a condo and cannot go in behind it with new plumbing as the other side of the wall is a common area.

I have read on this forum [ https://terrylove.com/forums/index.php?threads/delta-600-series-shower-valve-repair.82795/ ] that the Delta RP54870 is recommended for replacement for the Delta 600, but I am not sure if there is something else that might better fit my early '80s knob, as my knob is a little different from the late '80s knobs pictured in the thread.

THANK YOU very much for any advice!

A picture 800 pixels or less would help us to identify it.
