Delta 600 Shower valve help

Trying to track down information on a shower valve. I am coming in to fix another contractors work. So far so good until the shower valve. The customer wants to see about retrofitting the valve in the picture with satin nickel for the surround and handle. Problem is, last guy glued up the shower walls and behind it is a narrow towel closet 15" wide. Any help on the brand or ideas where to look? Thanks!

It may be a Delta 600 series. Fairly old.

Fairly old with a handle adapter and it is also very deep in the wall, which could be a problem fitting the trim plate and conventional lever handle.
