I had a dell studio XPS 8100 with Kingston hyper x fury that works on speeds to 1333-1866mhz. I now own the Dell XPS 8500.

Specs
Window 10 home 64bit version 1709
Intel core i5-3450
(1x8) Kingston Hyper X Fury
NVidia GeForce GTX 650Ti Boost 2gb DDR5 192bit
550watt psu model WT550q (Winston)

First issue, I soon found out the Bios A12 is outdated and doesn't let you change the Cas latency to 11-11-11 at 1600mhz speed where I believe the problem is. 10-10-10 at 1600mhz is what my memory says on Kingston's web site

FEATURES
Dual channel available
Capacities of up to 8GB (single) and 8GB–16GB (kits)
Frequency (speed) 1333MHz, 1600MHz, 1866MHz
CAS latency 9-9-9-27, 10-10-10-30 and 10-11-10-30
Voltage 1.5V
Asymmetric heat spreader for stylish heat dissipation
Compatible with H67, P67, Z68, Z77, Z87 and H61 Intel chipsets, as well as A75, A87, A88, A89, A78 and E35 AMD chipsets

Looks like I will need the Dell Xps 8700 for my type of memory at 1600mhz speed.

Xps 8700
Chipset
Intel Z87

Has anyone tried putting my memory in the xps 8700 to see if it's truly compatible?

I bought a MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti DirectX 12 GTX 1050 Ti 4GT OC 4GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready ATX Video Card.

My buddy upgraded his SSD and he gave his 250gb 850 Evo M.2 SSD. The Dell XPS 8700 doesn't come with M.2 on the motherboard. I could sell my Dell XPS 8500 and put it towards a Dell XPS 8900. I could utilize all 4gb GDDR5 memory on my new video card as well.

Also a very important parameter of the system unit. Namely - the memory of the video card. This is something similar to video-only RAM. This parameter is especially important if you want to buy a computer for games. It is also measured in Gigabytes, so it is very important not to confuse it with RAM. It is specified in the video card model and varies from 512 megabytes to 2 gigabytes. This parameter affects the performance of the video and it is worth paying attention to it if you choose a computer for games, i.e. the more the better. And if you want date recovery from a hard disk, you can contact specialists.
