Installed Red Lion 4 inch submersible deep well pump 2 wire 115volt ½ hp, in underground water tank to supply water to house at 3 to 50 psi. Pump only runs for few seconds when started then cuts out. Will restart at random again for few seconds and cut out. Removed pump from system, put in test barrel, bypassing pressure switch and with a short 1 inch pipe circulating back to test barrel. Same problem. Even if pump running or not checked voltage on both wires and it remains at 122v. Exchanged to different new pump. Same problems. Any help will be appreciated to resolve this problem.

You measure the voltage between the wires, and not from each wire to ground. You may have 240 volts between wires.

Yeah, or checking between the two wires could read low voltage like 65. That would make it trip the overload in the motor, which sounds like what it is doing.
