I have a deep well pump. That won't pump past 40 psi. Tested the amp draw on the pump and it reads 5.8 amps. I'm thinking that the well has gone dry. I let it sit for half an hour and it pumped up to 60 and shut off. I'm going to let the well rest and see what happens in the morning there is no sign of any toilet flappers being stuck open or trap seal primers running.

Your theory makes sense. When you have pumped the well dry, I would expect to see some air in the pipes.
