I need to replace my existing Tub/Shower Valve.
The copper supply pipes run vertically in the wall in my Condominium. (about 8" between them)
The existing valve's centerline is much closer to the CW supply pipe than the HW supply pipe.
I want to install a Symmons Temptrol Pressure Balancing Tub/Shower Valve.
This valve is wider than the existing one,
which puts its threaded CW port at 0.0625" from the CW supply pipe's connector tee.
CAN THIS CONNECTION BE MADE & HOW? Any disadvantages to this?
