I'm remodeling my tiny master bathroom to improve space and to eliminate a soffit hiding pipes in my kitchen below. I opted for a Toto AP and 2x6 carrier and I'm seeking advice on the best way to tie into the existing stack that shares a roughin toilet and drainage on an opposite wall.
My draft plan is to remove pipes in pictures 2 and 3 and tie Bath 1's sink and move the shower drain into Bathroom 2's branch (on the opposite side of the wall). Plus, run a new vent line for Bath 1 shower since there was no vent before. However, I'm not sure the best way to tie in the 3" wallhung carrier drain into the current stack.
Should I convert the 4-way tee in picture 2 to a 3-way and then add another 3-way tee below for new piping for the wall-hung? Would there be any issues connecting the new pipe vent above into the existing vent as shown in the first picture? Maybe there's a better way?
I do plan on having a master plumber come out in a few weeks (required to pull permits) but I'm just trying to learn and come up with a solid attack plan.
