Convert round washlet to elongated?

I bought a round Toto washlet and want to move it to another toilet at a recently bought condo. I found out the condo toilet is elongated. Can the seat be changed?

You can change it, but the seat will NOT extend to the front of the bowl.

I was asking Toto about the same question and here is the answer I received:

To switch from round to elongated, the Washlet will have to be sent into our facility. Our technicians will have to make the change given there is an electrical connection in the seat.
