Connection problems 1/2 one end 10m other

I am putting in new faucet it has m10 fitting on one end 1/2 on the other the half inch side won’t go on a 1/2 x 1/2 valve and box says to use 1/2 ips and I have a 1/2 compression fitting and a 1/2 fip by 1/2 od and it won’t connect to either valve whats am I needing to make it fit

You need to use a standard stop valve with 3/8" compression outlet and add this size adapter. The one shown is Lasco 10-0013
