Hello Everyone,
I am stumped here.
My house was built in 1985 in Central Florida. We are renovating the master bath and I have run into this issue.
The drain coming out of the house appears to be 1.5" with a 1.5" tubular conversion piece on it. I want to use a schedule 40 PVC 1.5" tub drain kit on it. I need the kit tee to sit pretty much exactly where this fitting is. There is not enough room to convert it. How can I remedy this? Is the solution to use 1.5" tubular instead of standard PVC for the tub drain? If that is the case would something this product work? https://www.amazon.com/Watco-Manufacturing-500-LT-PVC-CP-1-5-Inch-Overflow/dp/B005FJ92B4
The tubular drain
1.5" PVC tub drain tee
where it needs to sit to work with the tub
Thank you for your help!
