I recently had a small Toto CST654MF installed but it believe the rough-in is as 12 inch and is too close to the wall. It's been leaking sewer gas through the bolt holes.

Looking for a replacement or bowl replacement but having trouble finding a 10-inch rough-in/ round by Toto. Can anyone guide me in the right direction for either a bowl compatible with my setup or entirely new toilet?

Also curious if I could just buy a TOTO 10" Unifit Rough-In Adapter to fix my problem?

The toilet in your photo does not use a Unifit adapter. When I look up CST654MF, it does not match your photo. How far is the front of the toilet away from the wall?

There is a good chance that you could lift the current toilet, and fix it. With wax, it is important that the toilet does not rock. To prevent any rocking, you use shims. You position the shims before dropping the toilet, you lift the toilet, drop the wax, and drop the toilet.

You could move the tank away from the wall slightly by shimming the back a little higher.

If the wax is properly installed and then leaks, it is a good chance that the failure came from plunging. Do you use a plunger? If there is a blockage below the floor, plunging can make pressure that will blow out the wax. Get that path cleaned out.

Plumber who installed it is saying I need a toilet with a 10-inch rough in since the hole is too close. Problem is I'm having trouble finding a toto toilet with a 10-inch rough in and round.
