Hi. What products do you recommend to clean our new hans-grohe shower heads? I think the reddish spots on the rainhead look like rust. my husband thinks its mildew. thanks.

A 1:10 chlorine bleach solution on a Q-tip or rag will get rid of the mildew. For rust, it won't . Is that the only place you have a similar thing?

Well water? Iron content? Galvanized pipes?

CLR might work if it's mineral or rust. You'd probably want to run that by the manufacturer to ensure it wouldn't damage anything, though. Even an overnight dunk in some vinegar can dissolve a bunch of stuff if it's mineral. Bleach can help if it's biological, but a mixture of borax, hydrogen peroxide and alcohol destroys mold better.
