Clack WS1 programing/settings

Hi long time lurker of the forums.

I recently purchased a carbon filter 1.5 Cu and Softener WS1 both filters are 10x54 inches.
City Water
4 Bathrooms
4 Adults

Water hardness is 7 grains per gallon

Current Settings:
Hardness - 8
Regen Day - 14
P14
Regen 9.5 LBS
Capacity 24.0

Looking to see if I should make any adjustments to the current settings?

The settings shown in the manual are only examples.

For a softener containing 1.5 ft3 of resin, the usual recommended Capacity setting is 36.0, which will require 12 lbs salt.

Ensure the water filter backwash time is set for a different hour than the softener so their cycle times do not overlap on the occaisions they both cycle in the same night.

Although the filter's Backwash and Rapid Rinse cycles will typically be completed in less than 30-minutes, you may want to set the Regeneration Time for the Filter to be 1am, and the Regeneration Time for the softener to be 2am to ensure there will be no overlap.
