I have a new Clack WS1 with the brine fill setting set to Pre. The prefill starts 120 min (2 hours) before the regeneration time set, currently at 2am.

Is there a way to change the start of the pre fill say 180 min or 240 min before the regeneration time set?

The reason: I am still worried that the 2 hours is not enough to dissolve the salt and produce a fully saturated brine to clean the resin.

2 hours is quite sufficient to produce fully saturated brine.

The 'Prefill' setting is normally utilized when using Potassium Chloride as the regenerant instead of regular Sodium Chloride (salt).

If you are using Sodium Chloride, suggest programming Post Fill. With Post Fill, the brine tank will be refilled at the end of each regeneration cycle, thereby preparing brine in advance for the next future regeneration cycle. Because the brine will typically be prepared 7 or more days in advance, no additional delay will be needed, thereby reducing the length of each regeneration cycle by 2-hours.

T Thank you!! I am using the regular salt pellet. I have the option to just change the settings to 'Post' in the service menu (Next and Down Button)? Is there anything I need to do during the transition from Pre to Post aside from filling the water first to accommodate the first run as there is no brine soln yet from last Pre regeneration?
