Clack WS1 brine time

I manually put my unit into regen....the brine fill was just 3:11 mins. it hasent stepped to next position in process and its been 1.5 hrs.....how long show this step take?

You are apparently set up for fill first (brine first). I don't know how long they allow for the salt to dissolve, but I would think 2 or 3 hours.

Most people with a choice having a softener using regular softener salt in a basement or other controlled space have the brine fill at the end. The salt sits in the water for days. Thus it is ready for the next regeneration to start with backwash.
