Circulating well with too much water

Hi,

I am attempting to disinfect my well with Iron Out Filte-Mate SaniWell and one of the instructions is to run water from the hose into the wellhead. The water level in my well is about 3 ft below the top of the well, so when I try this the well overflows. Any ideas on how to make this work? Thank you.

Trying the water off to waste for a while to drawdown the level

I don’t see how you could run the water over if you are pumping out of that well, so where is the water coming from?

How about the pressure tank?
